THE JOY

A little over a year ago, running Jus_Wellness wasn't all The Joy. Our sales had dropped significantly, and week after week, we watched unsold juices ferment and go to waste. We were frustrated. We had good products, but something wasn't working.

I sat down to reflect on what needed to change. Perhaps our customers needed something new, something that would excite their taste buds again. That was when I decided to introduce new juice varieties.

But I wasn't sure how customers would receive them. For the first month, we used simple white labels with handwritten ingredient lists instead of printing our official labels. We wanted to test the waters before making a bigger investment.

One of our new recipes was THE JOY.

Inspired by the song “The Joy” by Belonging Co., the name felt fitting for a season when we desperately needed a little joy ourselves. And there was something beautiful about creating a refreshing new blend and naming it The Joy, especially when we were hoping to rekindle our customers' excitement about our products.

After weeks of watching bottles go unsold, introducing The Joy gave us a reason to look forward with hope. It reminded me that sometimes, even in the difficult seasons of business, a little creativity and the courage to try something different can open room for something beautiful.

As the founder of Jus_Wellness, my goal has always been to help people prosper in health even as their soul prospers. But this experience reminded me that the journey of building a business also comes with its own emotions: the uncertainty, the disappointments, the lessons, and those moments that make you smile again.

The Joy was more than a new juice recipe. It became a reminder of why we keep trying, innovating, and showing up, even when things don't go as planned.

Sometimes, the very thing you create to bring joy to others becomes a source of joy for you, too.

And that is a beautiful thing.

Here's to THE JOY, in a bottle and in our journey.
