It Started With My Dietary Changes. I'm Building Something Bigger.

I didn't leave a career in technology and data because I had everything figured out.

I left because I couldn't shake the feeling that I was meant to help people prosper in health, even as their souls prosper.

In July 2024, I started Jus Wellness with a simple idea: make healthy choices easier to enjoy. At the time, it was just me, fresh ingredients, bottles of juice, and a lot of uncertainty. I didn't know exactly how far it would go. I only knew I wanted to create something people would genuinely love.

And then people started coming back.

They told their friends. They placed repeat orders. They asked when the next batch would be ready. What started as a small experiment gradually became a business that, within its first year, sold more than 8,000 bottles.

That was when I realized I wasn't just selling juice. I was building trust.

Then I made a difficult decision: to leave my corporate job after more than six years working in technology, data, systems, and governance. The idea of walking away from a structured, full-time career for a start-up full of uncertainty was exciting and terrifying in equal measure. Being selected as a Passion Ventures Fellow fast-tracked that decision; it gave me a bit of relief in the face of the unknown and the confidence to leave my professional career and pursue Jus Wellness full-time.

I'm three months into doing this full-time now, and things keep getting clearer. Entrepreneurship has taught me things no spreadsheet ever could. I've learned that a great product isn't enough. You need customers who believe in it. You need systems that can support it. Enforcing food hygiene and safety standards takes a lot of discipline. You need discipline when sales are slow, courage when things don't work, and humility to listen when customers tell you what needs to change.

I've also learned that growth doesn't always look like growth. Sometimes, growth is deciding not to accept a deal that doesn't make financial sense. Sometimes, it is choosing quality even when cutting costs would be easier. Sometimes, it is getting back up after a difficult week and producing the next batch anyway.

And now, Jus Wellness has entered a new chapter. Being selected as a Passion Ventures Fellow and receiving a grant has given us the opportunity to build with greater intention. This isn't just about producing more. It's about building the systems, capacity, and foundation required to turn a growing idea into a sustainable business that impacts real people's lives.

Creating premium products for the wellness community, made from local ingredients, and eventually, for the world.

Doing the hard work of turning wellness possibilities into a brand people can trust. That's Jus Wellness.

I started with a bottle of juice. Now I'm thinking much bigger than just a refreshing glass of juice.

Come a little closer, and follow our journey, and watch how Passion Ventures is bringing us closer, faster, to a dream we once thought would take years to reach.
