Ideal Passion Ventures Fellows:
- Are interested in launching businesses that meaningfully tackle pressing issues affecting people’s lives in the developing world. 
- Intimately understand the societal problems they are addressing and the communities they serve. 
Passion Ventures Fellowships offer flexible grants ranging up to $50,000 for a one-year period. Fellows commit to living overseas in their intended communities to work full-time on their project.
Focus areas include economic empowerment, global health, child protection, refugees, homelessness, and education.
In order to be considered, applicants must:
- Have obtained a four-year college degree. 
- Commit to living in their intended communities for at least one year to work full-time on the proposed project. 
- Be fluent in English or have a business partner who is fluent in English. 
- Request up to $50,000 in funds. The entire budget of your project should not exceed $200,000 since at least 25% of your funding must come from Passion Ventures. 
Requirements for applicants
If selected, Fellows must:
- Spend the entirety of grant funds by the end of the one-year grant period. 
- Provide written updates via a public blog. 
- Provide progress reports and financial expense details at the four-, eight-, and twelve-month marks.
